I was looking at pictures of the new vaio 15 S ( http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/04/vaio-f-folded-into-15-inch-vaio-s/), and as I was looking at the ports I noticed the thirds usb had the thunderbolt icon next to it. Now since the 15s does not have a portable media dock what would be the point of installing thunderbolt this way. Do you think this means that sony plans to release an adapter between lightpeak usb to thunderbolt port?

I think it just means it's a USB charge port - that port still supplies power even when the laptop is powered off.

I wasn't able to find this new S15 instock other than Sony and Newegg. I'm considering it but would prefer to buy from Amazon or B&H to save $70 ;)
