I remember in the Anandtech review of the original Sony Vaio S with the IPS screen that Sony did not allow you to install fresh drivers from AMD, which led to performance problems in the laptop. Does anybody know if this is still the case in the new refresh with the GT640M LE? I would really like to get that laptop, but if the drivers suck, it might be very hard to play games with good performance.

By default that is the case, but it's an easy fix with Notepad.
