    Hi,

I have bought a Vaio SA and I’m getting battery issues. The problem is that remain percentage in W7 is stuck, for example if I charge the laptop until 70%. It maintains that percentage for a lot of minutes.
The problem happens in Ubuntu as well so this is not a SO issue.

Sometimes the problem is fixed by pressing the Power button 2 times, so the battery drops around 5% of charge.

    I’m using HW Monitor/Battery Bar

Does anyone have a similar issue?
I’ll really appreciate if someone can try this.

    Cheers.

    Hi,
Sounds like a faulty battery - pop into a sony store & test with another battery.
I had a silimar issue where battery charged to 97% & charging light remained on but never reached full charge.
I received a replacement battery & all is fine now,
    Cheers,
