This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hey,

    I just purchased my laptop a few months from a year ago, but my webcam has been acting up. My OS is Vista Home Premium x64.

    I've been using it for Skype quite often, but lately when I'm in a video chat, I hear the 'device disconnect and reconnect' sound. Sometimes it works if I press the video button again else I need to restart my laptop.

    Are there any solutions to this problem?
