    Hi,

I am having BSOD pbm from the last week onwards
    Windows error recovery:
    Launch windows repair
    start windows normally..
It is getting to the same screen for any selection.

1.Tried to clean installation again, it did not allow me as BSOD appeared.
So decided that it is a hardware issue and did the following:
1.Changed the harddisk and tried, getting the same issue.
    2. Changed the Ram and tried, Same issue.

So is it a problem with the motherboard??

Please advise. It is so annoying.

I am using windows 7 home premium 64-bit.

    Thanks
    Sue

I have no idea what your problem is but wanted to share some hope. I was doing a bios update following instructions to a "t" on my SR 390. The laptop completely froze with a black screen. The point of the story is that I had to call Sony. They had a tech out in 2 business days who installed a new motherboard. That was 2 months ago.
