The integrated webcam of my notebook has no color other than black and white. I tried to reinstall drivers, return to factory settings but nothing changed. The operating system installed on my notebook is Windows 8. The camera app that comes with Win 8 has limited controls to adjust colors and it has no options as "enable colors".

Same problem continues with Skype. I wanted to enable "ColorEnable" section but it is disabled. The hardware ids of the integrated webcam are as stated below:

    USB\VID_05CA&PID_18C3&REV_0012&MI_00
    USB\VID_05CA&PID_18C3&MI_00

There is no software installed to control the webcam on my notebook. I think that the colors are not enabled by default and I can not get access for enabling colors.

Could you please help me to solve my problem?
