I keep getting emails from Dell at work for me to buy a XPS M1330.
It's attempting but I really don't need one yet and my company will not pay for a new one till October.
I have no loyalty to any brand but what irks me is the false advertising from all these companies.
Sony boasted about this huge battery life in the SZ we never got ( although I am more than happy to get what I am right now).
Now Dell's Claim: New! Introducing the World's Thinnest 13.3" Notebook.
Not true, the SZ is 2.19 to 3.3.
According to Dell the XPS is 2.31 to 3.38![]()
In the end they are both nice computers.

sounds a bit like "too good to be true though."
how did you negotiate it? -
lol that m1330 was configured with the slowest processor
-
and yet it's lower than base price

If he doesn't tell us how, his point is moot. If only a few people in the "know" can get it for that price but not the rest of us, what's the point? I'm sure there are some people who can get a secret deal on an SZ laptop, but that's moot as well since we are talking about the price we can all get it for.

It's usually the people that have a business account with Dell that come out with huge discounts.
