I'm trying to replace a cracked LCD panel but original equipment is a Toshiba LTD133exby. After an extensive search, I can't find this part anywhere...Sceentek/Lcds4Less etc are all a no go. They list Sony's replacement part A1181089A but then tell me it won't fit the OE housing . Sony will sell me this part (A1181089A) for $549 (ouch. They it's not the OE part but they're "fairly certain it will fit, if not I can return it". Has anyone replaced their panel on this model? If so where did you get it and can you give me manufacturer and part number info so I can proceed?

Thanks for your help. I truly appreciate it and will investigate. I'm thinikng that I can probably buy this item and just replace the entire housing with LED screen in place rather than fitting new LED screen into old housing. I've never attempted this before. Is that what you're suggesting? Thanks again

IMHO there is much much easier to replace single screen vs entire housing,no doubts.
I'm convinced in this matter since I have performed both once.
