Here is some pictures of my pride and joy Sony Vaio T350 bought it for $1350 shipped, I love this laptop sony make the best looking laptops out there. Keyboard is no problem even for my long fingers. The best thing about this computer is the 1280x786 Xbrite screen. I get around 8hrs of battery life also with the standard battery

I did a quick search and found both of the themes you are using.

The Vista theme isn't official from Microsoft so you have to download SkinsXP or Windows Blinds or install it manually.

I also think they are making sites remove the download link for that Vista skin because it infringes on copyright.

Anyway...I think it looks cool but I ended up downloading this new Royale theme from Microsoft New Zealand instead.

There are some new backgrounds in that package as well.

    You can find it here:

It depends where you bought it from.

Usually Amazon or Best Buy offer rebates but if it's not listed on the SonyStyle website you might be out of luck.

its koo i still got a good deal on it i was trying to be greedy i guess. I just remembered that there were a bunch of 100 rebates during xmas for every vaio i could image i was just wondering if i could get a rebate to sweeten the deal. What kind of lappy do you have webster and how do you like it???

    PS.
My friend has a lappy that he has bought second hand from a friend and its still under warranty. Is the warranty transferable?
I dont think he has the receipt if he needs to have it repaired so what are his options???

I have a VAIO FS Series. The 15 inch widescreen is what I like the most about it.

I don't know about the warranty, you might want to ask the manufacturer.

Well, I don't even have a receipt for my model, when the DVD-RW failed to play DVD's all you need is the serial on the bottom and you create an account with them and you send it to them (mine went from th UK to France) They're really quick.

Yah i love this computer it is a really amazing computer much better than the TX I believe feels more solid. I was just at compusa messing around with the TX and it felt alittle flimsy to me some flex on the keyboard that the T didnt exhibit. Also i would be scared to death about the screen its so flexible. The T i believe is also brighter.

Anyway yah me friend has a fs7xx that he bought a bestbuy comes with the geforce 6400. You running games any games on your lappy Webster???

I'd better go to Compusa and check the TX out, I've also heard bad things about it. I also perfer the older Ts to the TX in looks at least. I hear they suffer from loud fan noise, poor build quality and heat issues as well. A bit after the TX was released, they refreshed it to have no fan, sucks for those that paid $2000+ for their older TXs suffering from loud fan noise.
I'm really looking to getting me a Vaio T350 as well, don't care for the EDGE connectivity.

yah i heard the same things people say that sony rushed it and thats why they had to do such a quick update to fix some of the flaws that were wrong with the TX. I to like the look of the T350 over the TX you wouldn't go wrong with it man. Yah the edge sux its like ultra slow i had to use my 30 day free trial. If only it was equipped with the HSPDA network then it would rock. Somebody told me on some forum that it might be possible to make the edge on the T350 work on HSPDA network which i seriously doubt be. He says all you need is a radio frequency program or something to change the frequencies LOL. You cant go wrong with the T beautiful screen. I never hear the fans and i dont know where ppl saying the battery life is not as good as the TX i get almost 9hrs with ultimate battery lowest brightness, optical drive off, 16 bit color, fan on 1 quiet, and NHC lower voltage settings. I like to see a TX compare to that.

Yah sony vaio power management is a great program better than most that I have encountered. I great battery life with it. As a matter of fact im been using this batter for like over 6 hrs now typing and surfing internet still has like 20% left. You can leave the ac adapter at home with this workhorse
