    People at engaged should realised its not always about performance/money value! Its the same with exotic cars, you pac much more that they are capable (besides veyron) and they still sell well.

    This laptop is one of a kind beast so the price is fine according to it.

    Is there any laptop that could compete with it, or even come close?

    people at engadget are retarded the 4.4k price point doesn't reflect on the lower end models with the standard HDD and DVD which can be had for 2000k probably 1800-1900 street price.

    Personally, I think the new TT just plain ugly! I thought I might regret getting the Z but not anymore.

    in my opinion, the z series still has better design than the tt. though, ultra portable powerhouse performance, tt still the best..
