    Hiya,

I am looking to purchase this vaio. I have a few questions which i would like to ask.

I am looking to purchase it from the site below as it is very cheap and would like to know if anyone has any idea of how good this site is?

    http://www.microwarehouse.co.uk/catalogue/item/SONB0303?cidp=PriceGrabber

If later on i wanted to upgrade this vaio with a blu-ray drive, is it easy to do so? I know that you need 4GB RAM, which i will upgrade to later on.

How easy is it to increase the HD size? If i decided to put 250GB HD, how would that work? If i create recovery disc, would i use that to install the OS on a new HD?

Oh also out of the 120GB HD, how much is actually available if you take into account the recovery partition and all the OS and SW which is installed? I plan to create the recovery discs and get rid of the partition.

    Kind Regards

Hi, if your concerned about that site i would get it from PC World Business.
They are probably all a branch of the same parent company and they offer the same deals. I know people who have bought stuff from this site without any issue.

The TT comes with a 1.8 5400 HD and these are not as easy to come by as 2.5 HD's. You could just buy something like Acronis or Norton Ghost and copy the OS over to your new drive in an usb HD enclosure. What you're planning to do with the recovery discs should work as well.

If you run a search on bluray here it may provide for you some of the answers that you're looking for.
