    Hey Guys,

I want to add 1GB ram to my sony vaio tz150N.

I found this online for about $35:

    1.0GB PC2-4200 (533Mhz) 200 pin DDR2 SODIMM

    Will it work?

Any recommendations of what I should be looking for and where is the best place to buy it.

    Thanks!

you only have 1 slot.. you need to buy a 2 gig stick... bump for anyone who can provide info as to whether there is a "good" or "better" type of ram for this implementation

Newegg.com is one of the most reliable, cheapest, and most reputable online retailers for any computer related item. You should check there. They also own Chiefvalue.com, so that's worth checking out too.

I think any of them will work. If you want the same as what Sony supplies, get one of the 533Mhz (PC2 4200) modules. The brand doesn't really matter.
