    I have just bought this laptop Sony Vaio VCPEC1M1E and when tapping the touch pad the case around it seems like there is something underneath thats loose is this normal for this type of laptop?

    No, normally nothing is loose, except maybe the battery. Is it the battery wiggle that you are noticing or something else (your post doesn't really say enough to let people know what you are referring to)

    The battery is secure so i dont think its that. If i put press down on the case then the noise stops it does not happen all the time. I wondered if it could be the plastic cases underneath the laptop thats making the noise?

    Please can some advise
