I have the above model with me and I have downgraded to Windows XP PRO SP3 and I have all the drivers except one  !
I believe it is the TV Tuner and when running Unkown Devices it tells me:

    Multimedia Controller
    |---Fujitsu Ltd
    |---Sony Corp

    Device Details:

    *Windows Description - Unkown device
    *Hardware ID - SNO3504
*Device Category (Class) - Other devices
    *Enumerator - ACPI

*Device Status Flags - Unkown, Not detected, Not present, Not Phantom, Category Visable.

I'm thinking it is the TV Tuner card, but I cannot find anything for a driver.

Have you tried using windows auto driver update/detection?

    Have you tried Vaio Update?
Have you looked at Sony's website?

By the way, that's not really a laptop, is it ;)

Please tell us what you've done so far so people can get an idea.

I've tried these, and I consider it a laptop because it has a laptop cpu, 2.5" hdd, and really is nothing more than a 19" model laptop.

I really am at a loss as to where to find this driver.

Is it possible that your device is not supported under XP and thus no driver for it exists?

    Manufacturers page?
