I was wondering if anyone had some information on this model. I found one today for $1399 Canadian and liked the look of it. Unfortunatly, I can't find much on it. Also, the clerk who was working knew nothing about it other than the screen size (14.1) and Processor (PM)

I'm not familiar with this one at all. Any help would be appreciated.

There isn't much talk about B series because it is a cost-down version of the Sony Z1 and B series is intended to try to compete other cheap business laptop like Dell Latitude D600 series. There is still some left-over style from Z1, which in my mind is very stylish, so that's why it pleases your eyes.

Unfortunately, style is probably the only strong point B series has against other business laptops like the cheap Dell or the solid IBM Thinkpad T series. From what I have heard (I have never used or touched a B before), it is a decent laptop, it's just not have enough attractiveness in the business world (where people care more about cost, reliability, and service) nor consumer world (where most of the consumer oriented features famous for Sony laptops are stripped away to make B seriss more business like).

You can check on sonystyle.com (the US site, I am not sure if the Canadian site has lots details about B) for the specs of B series. If you like the features it offers with the price (I think $1399 Canadian is not bad), it is a viable option.
