This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Sony Vaio VGN FS 550 no boot

    The other day i was reading my emails when my laptop died. Tried to restart and nothing all i could hear was a faint clicking from mother board. I let it cool down and tried about 1 hour later and again nothing no lights etc. Plugged it into wall outlet and still no lights for charging came on.

    Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated.
