I have just bought a Sony Vaio VGN- FW270J which I have now connected to a media system via the HDMI cable.

Most of the things are working fine, besides when I play a Blue Ray disc from the laptop. The only sound I can get out is the stereo sound.
When I try to configure the sound going via the control panel and into sound, the only option I have is STEREO.

Does anybody know if an upgrade of the system exists so I can set this up as surround rather than stereo?
If not, is this something Sony is looking into?

    ...Help..thanks :)
