    Sony Vaio VGN-A397XP can't switch on ?

    Hi guys, I was doing yesturday some job and the pc was running fine so then i switch it off and then after 2 hours i switch it on again but it wouldn't switch on any more,please can you give idea about the pc why it woulndn't switch on or maybe the battery is dead please any help :confused:

    I had the same thing..had to replace the mobo.
    You can try detaching the battery and holding the on/off button fo 20 secs to discharge it and then place the battery again to try again.
