    Hi, :)

please watch this video in advance.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkzOzgWjoNw

I uploaded the video in Youtube to get some
tips and also this website woudln't allow me to upload it! :(

My Sony laptop has been making this weird noise for quite long.
I know the best solution is to go to Sony and get it fixed but
i bought the laptop in another country and im not exactly in a position to
    take it to repair...

plus, my laptop used to make a much crazier noise than this before
like some thunder noise or smthing lol
so i took it to repair about two times and got better
but its making this stupid noise again since a month or two ago.
    SO ANNOYING!
if anyone has this sorta experience - please share some tips?
    any DIY solution??? thanks ;)

If you're a Korean as your user name suggests (hey, I'm one too), then I'll assume you're situated in Korea at the moment.

First, the CS fans are known to be problematic, as are some of the earlier BZ series. I know that Sony has this in effect internationally, but this should help:

Notice of warranty extension for VAIO Notebook Computer - VGN-CS series and VGN-BZ series - Updated on 20th April 2010 : Sony Asia Pacific

It's essentially a repair programme being run by Sony for VGN-CS and BZ series having funny fans. Although the sound your machine is making doesn't resemble what I've been hearing (they're more faster 'clicks'), Sony should take your machine in and replace the fan for free, regardless of where you live and where the machine was purchased from. They state 'unusual sounds'; that youtube video there depicts a fan unusual enough in my books. Take it to a SONY repair centre, not just your everyday cupboard shop as is common in Korea; they'll charge you silly.

Just make sure you have your receipt with you (regardless of country of origin). That proves that you are the original owner, and should allow you the right to a free repair. And maybe try phoning Sony Support before dropping by their centre (there's one in the KoEx Mall, if I recall the name correct; somewhere just off from subway line 2). Better yet:

Regardless, good luck. If anything, after-sales service should have your machine fixed and returned to you within the week, a heck of a lot faster and more curteous than other countries...

...in regards to your earlier fixes.
It depends on when you got the machine replaced I guess. Sony started releasing 'fixed' fans a wee while back, and maybe you got the fan(s) replaced before those fixed ones came out. Well, knowing Sony Korea they would have replaced it for free well before the recall / repair notice... I'm sure if you get this replaced today, the problem SHOULD be fixed.
