Sony Vaio VGN-FW21L Service (repair) Manual

Hey everyone.

I was wondering if any of you nice people may point me in the way of a service manual for my vaio vgn-fw21l model laptop please. Currently looking for one because after exactly a year and a day of buying my laptop the AC adapter decided it was going to blow up, as you can imagine i took it back to the store i bought it from (PCWORLD) in the uk and was told by them it wasnt there problem and they didnt have todo anything for me and they didnt want to. After a hour of arguing with staff then manages and complaining about customer service and explaining my aunties laptop was 3 weeks out of warranty and they fixed it they offered me a replacement adapter for half price which i took as i was getting nowhere.

Then the new adapter proceeded to not work an get very heated and the ends would melt which in turn damaged my charge port leaving me with no option but to repair it myself. Having no previous experience with laptop repair but plenty with pc's i would be grateful if someone could point me to a guide to open this model up so i can replace the charge port as so far my searches have been no help.

The only thing I have found is user manuals on the Sony site which doesn't really give you much information. I didn't see your model on this site but try contacting the owner and he may be able to find it for you.
