    Sony Vaio VGN-FZ21M will not cooperate!

    I am the owner of a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ21M.

    The laptop is BSODing before reaching Windows:

    I have done F8 and restored the hard drive to factory conditions but that did not rectify the problem, with the laptop getting stuck:

    I'm looking at getting a pro to repair this but if anyone knows what's wrong and how to fix it then I'll attempt to do it myself.

    Does anyone have any ideas!!

    Although this time last year the nVidia problem was ruled out, I have contacted a repair man and they have told me that the fault may have finally reared its ugly head!

    Sony had the extended the warranty for the defective nvidia Chip by 3 years (excluding the original warranty), so you can get it replaced for free.

    Call Sony.
