    why is sony so crap at releasing bios updates for its laptops?
    i have the VGN-FZ38M and since i got it in march 08 no bios update has been released...

    also in terms of the VT, being enabled are sony going to enable it for this laptop?


    any ideas.... this sort of crap is putting me off buying sony ever again,

    There has been no REASON for a BIOS update since you got the machine, until the VT issue came to a head.

    I would not hold my breath waiting for them. But there is no need to. Look at the link in my signature line which will take you to a thread on how to patch the BIOS yourself to enable the VT bit. It is pretty simple and lots of folks have done so successfully.
