Hi I was wondering does the sony vaio vgn-nr120 have a pcmcia slot? There's a slot on the right side of the notebook. I have no idea what that's for. I recently won a bidding on ebay and the wireless n card that I bought would not fit at all.

    Nope..

"This notebook also includes a next-generation ExpressCard 34 card slot ( no PCMCIA slot)..."

Quote from Deremate.com.ar, and found at other sites, although most are in Spanish.. I think.

They do make wireless-N cards in the Expresscard/34 format ( LINK) though, just make sure you don't get one in Expresscard/54, as it won't fit either.
