    These are the details about the PWM used to regulate screen backlight brightness on the Sony Vaio VPCZ13M9E:

    • It has 9 brightness levels
    • 9th level is maximum brightness and there's not PWM
    • The rest of the brightness levels (1-8) are PWM regulated through duty cycle
    • PWM frequency is marginally higher than 200 Hz
    • PWM period if marginally lower than 5 ms (miliseconds)
