    Hi there,

I am quite new here and my new Sony Vaio comes end of next week.
I plan to exchange the built-in HDD with a SSD and want to clean install Windows 7 into it.
When the laptop comes there will be Windows Home Premium installed, but I habe Professional from college and want to install it.

With all these manual/tutorials here I am a bit confused which suits me!

Is it possible to make a usable recovery disk from the installed Windows and use it to get the drivers and software to work with my Windows 7 Professional?

Or which tutorial do I have to use from here?

I just did the clean install after swapping the HDD for an SSD and everything installed finde, but when I try to install Vaio Care from the installer downloaded from Sony, it installs but nothing is shown after reboot!
