Hi guys
I have a SONY VAIO VGN-CR140E with intel core2 duo CPU T7100 1.8Ghz (which is 64 bit capable)
It came with 2 gig RAM,i recently upgraded to 4 .
I knew 32 bit Vista won't use all 4 gig ,but what i did not know was that if i go with 64 bit Vista i'm not gonna have the drivers i need...
So...i have to stay with 2.99 gig RAM ?( this is the total physical memory now)![]()
Thanks

Try looking for Vista drivers for other models if there aren't any for your for 64-bit Vista. Sony pretty much uses the same components their notebooks. While I did notice that some drivers (installation packages) are locked to specific models, perhaps you can share exactly which ones you need and others [hopefully] will try to help you with separate driver files.

Where can i find out WHAT drivers are needed to run this specific laptop on 64 bit vista?
Thanks again -
