Hi everyone, can someone advize about what to do. I bought a new vaio recently and im a complete novice and i mean novice.
Anyway i recently spilled some coffee on my keyboard (yes i know) anyway i swiched off left for a few hours and turned on and lo and behold it worked, but" ten minues later everything went haywaire and windows shut it down , so i left it as it would'nt do anything ,and now two weeks later i tried it again and it works but the keys were sticky but eventually worked, apart from my backspace all looks well ,thing is i used beta IE/9 and i have had odd problems that went away as i believed with it being beta there was cobwebs.
But my question is the backspace is so important and i am disabled and my fingers are allways touching wrong buttons and i want to know is it worth trying to have it repaired, or is there something else i can do thank you

One of my nephews' recently spilled hot chocolate on my sisters' keyboard and i was advised to tell her to remove the keyboard and just give it a good scrub and to let it dry.
At this point you haven't got anything to lose really. You could try that or purchase a new keyboard.
Although going by the problem you've described as sounds some damage might have been caused elsewhere.
