    Sony Vaio Warranty?

    Can I buy the warranty through sony at any time during my first year? I know I should call but im not at home right now..and its on my mind lol.

    I thought it could only be bought at purchase laptop time, but who knows now. That was a year ago or so when I thought I read that.

    Please let me know so I can update the SR owner's thread info.

    Anyway, I recommend it just to be safe if you can. Although getting things fixed with service net (the warranty provider) is a pain in the rear, they don't know what they are doing sometimes and where to transfer your call to. But after a few hours I'm sure your issues will be resolved.

    It depends who you bought it from and country. Don't quote me on this but I have read in the little printed notes you can still get it provided your product is in good shape and within the first 3 months. And subjected to the management's decision even thou you did past all the requirement.
