I just bought a new (tecnhically used) Sony FZ240. In the box it doesnt have any warranty card or so. So how do I know if the laptop is covered under the warranty? I already register the product online, but doesnt say anything about warranty. So any FZ owners there can help me? Should I get an official SONY WARRANTY CARD? Did I get scammed? The laptop is completely brand new. The buyer purchase it 2 weeks ago.

You don't get a warranty card. Sony asks you to provide a receipt to prove purchase date and that is when your warranty begins. If you have no receipt, it starts the date of market release. Each new product comes with a 1 year limited warranty, and the option to extend as long as you have a minimum of 30 days left on your original warranty. You might get lucky, and may not have to show proof of purchase.
