    To me it looks like the 12" S series. In fact it is nearly identical to it.

    Well, not as close to S series as you think, as Y series has no optical drive. I don't think it will make to US or UK because it is not part of the Fall 2005 line-up in Japan (and keep in mind that this model was introduced in Summer 2005 line-up Japan).
