    Hi all,

When in Stamina mode with a Sony Vaio Z540 I can watch youtube videos in the browser window with no problem. However, if I attempt to maximise the video to full screen it continues to play (as I can hear the sound) but all I see is a black screen. This does not occur in speed mode.
This problem also occurs with other flash-based video sites (e.g. hulu.com).
Anyone else experiencing this problem or is this to be expected in stamina mode?

    Thanks for your help,
    lotdmo

You don't want to enable full acceleration actually, as I indeed did have the same problem, and disabling that acceleration fixed the problem.

Does this decrease the speed of your computer?

CPU will be used up for software rendering. But since this is stamina mode, there may not be that much of a difference. I think the X4500 can do hardware decoding, right?

You can try updating flash... it worked for me last time.

I believe the option only affects Flash video, so it might affect Flash stuff, but not other video performance or your computer generally. ;)

Update your Flash Player to the latest version also fixes the problem
