After using my new Vaio Z for a few hours i noticed a slightly greenish hue at the bottom of the screen(1600x900). It's mostly visible with white or very light background. There are a few of those spots and i think it originates from uneven LED backlight. It's not instantly obvious, but after i've noticed it I find it somewhat distracting.
Do any of you guys have the same issue? Is it a common phenomenon or should I return it? Or is it caused by something else and is it easy to fix?

It is defective LCD.
I had one which was replaced by Sony Warranty recently. -
Do you by any chance have a picture of it stored?
Are we talking about the same issue?
It is really only slightly noticeable, it can not be seen if you put your face to the screen at 5 cm distance or if you look from the side. Only at a proper distance - a very light slightly greenish tint(two spots) at the bottom part of the screen visible only on a white/light gray background. It's really a relatively minor defect and i assume some may not even notice it. I do however find it mildly distracting.
If i tried to take a picture, it probably couldn't even be seen. -
you better take a picture using camera then upload to imageshack then show it here.
