    Hi!

    New to these forums. I basically joined because I've been looking at laptops for a long time and I've narrowed the choices down to the Sony VAIO Z or the VAIO S (say no to ULV CPUs). I've been looking to get the Sony Vaio Z 2012, and was wondering whether the external media dock was a worthwhile purchase.

    Also, does anyone feel that the Sony Vaio S is a valid lower priced substitute for the Z?
