    Hello,
I fixed this issue on one user account before, but now it recurs on a new user account. After a while, the light under Wireless Connections turns off turning off my internet connection, so I suspect it must be an adapter issue. Any ideas?

If you have the Intel 5100 wireless, then it may be at fault. This wireless card is absolutely a POS. I get common disconnect/reconnect activity every few minutes on some networks.
