Hey Everyone,
I have windows 7 working very well on my vaio vgn-z590 thanks to the help of this forum. However, I can't seem the get the webcam to work. I've installed the arc soft program listed under the windows vista camera driver on the vaio support site but it doesn't seem to find a camera.
Anyone manage to get this to work?
Thanks,
Lyle

If you go to Meebo.com, and try setting up a video conference with yourself, will the camera turn on?

I asked that because I have Win7 running on an SR, and I did not install the drivers manually. It looks like they (Microsoft) installed a driver called Sony Visual Communication Camera.

The webcam on my Z Series worked in Win7. I just used the default driver that it installs. Which is called "Sony Visual Communication Camera"
