    Sony Vaio Z ZPCZ2 Hard Drive Enclosure? Please help!

    Hey everyone,

    I have a sony vaio Z - VPCZ2 model laptop and the RAID configuration got corrupted. Gives me the, "Operating System not found" error. My issue is the data contents are confidential to the company i work for and i cant send it into the Sony shop for repair as they will just replace the HDD and i will loose all the data. I have been searching endlessly for an enclosure so i can pull the data off the drive before sending it back in, but neither Sony or Samsung have any idea where i can get an enclosure. Has anyone come across this? see the picture below.

    Does anyone have any idea where i can get an enclosure for this? its a 30 pin ribbon cable, but everywhere i look only sells 40 and 24 pin. i called newegg, cdw, digitaldiscount, sony, samsung, samsung connector support, and no one has a clue!!!

    Please help if you have seen this error!

    Did you ever find an answer to this? I am in the same situation trying to find an enclosure for this SSD.
