Hi, I wonder if someone have the same problem as I,
    with the VAIO vgn-z11xn
After a couple of hours of usage,, surfing downloading(bittorrent),watching movies, even wordproccesing, the ing computer slows down...
The sound starts clipping and it really isn´t possible to do anything..
Restart is requierd, which helps, but it´s really disturbing that a high end computer should have these problems...

Also I have gotten a mark on the screen from the keybord(probably dirt or something) there´s a line in the upper middle of the screen probably from the spacebar.
Does anyone have a solution,? I have tried to clean it with ionised water, but that doesn´t help...
Does anyone know sonys policy on this kind of screen problems?
    ..
P.S Using fruitloops the sound is clipping, is there a solution to this awell.
P.S the sound in msn is clipping aswell around 3 or 4 times when starting..

Sadley I would say that my asus a8js runs faster and is more alert in everyday tasking that the vaio Z,, even if the spec are not so god as in the sony´s comp..anyone else feeling that the Sony could have made z11 faster???

Peace out.. thankfull if someone knows anything

Go to task manager-processes tab. Are there any processces which is constantly using high % of cpu? If you find it, you can do something to the program or not use the program at all. Also, some HP AIO printers is notoriously hogging cpu. Have you run antivirus to see if you have a trojan horse? There is a thread here that talks about how to make you laptop run faster. Search for it.

BTW, Z is a good machine, and should not have problems like yours.

I've had horrible experience with bittorrent. Slowing downs, internet dropouts. I eventually just uninstalled.

there are quite a lot of alternatives.

Google it, or use the above link.
If the CPU stays at 90% you have to see what's the app that's using that much and definitely replace it.
My Z has no such issues. But I am not using Bittorrent.

It's okay if "system idle process" is taking alot of time. It's just indicates that the computer is not having to work.

If that's what you mean by system "waiting" process then it's okay.
