Since day one, I have never been able to get the compute to sleep with the lid closed let along wake up upon opening.

I've recently been able to install the missing features in the vaio control panel such as the power management feature which cantons the lid action setting.

However even with the resume from sleep or hibernation and sleep on battery and plugged in, the lid still remains unresponsive.

I even tired to install the Intel Management engine driver but give me an missing feature in Bios error which tells me maybe I need to update the Bios to solve this issue but then I don't wan't to risk bricking my laptop.
