Sony Vaio Z, SR, and BZ series: Rebate Oct 1st - Dec 31st

I haven't seen this publicized much so i thought i would help everyone out. Currently on any Vaio Z, SR, or BZ model bought between October 1st and December 31st (at least in US) you have the option of 2 rebate "bundles" they are calling them.

Productivity Bundle

• Docking station
• Wireless bluetooth mouse
• Stick AC adapter

Mobility Bundle

• Additional standard battery
• Carrying case
• Stick AC adapter

Can I get this offer even if I am a student?

That should have a lot of deals.

 

You can get this no problem if you are a student. The program doesn't discriminate. All you need to do is buy a Z, SR or BZ notebook and you're good.

 

Unfortunately... that's only for the US right? I don't think it applies for Canadians.

I could totally use the extra battery.

 

amazon just lowered the prices of 520 and 550 FYI

 

I posted a link to this offer in a other thread a few days ago.
Newegg is advertising this one and you can get it if:

* You are an END USER
* And you are buying from an SONY autorized retailer
* And you are not ordering from sonystyle (retailers like newegg or amazon should be valid)

--> I even asked them by email whether this offer is also valid when you buy it from sonystyle.com the answer was no! (This doesnt stop me from trying it though )

Thread following the rebate.

Sonystyle.com orders DO qualify for the rebate. I'm sending in my stuff today

CTO (Configure-to-order) laptops do NOT qualify...at least according to what people have been posting.
