    Hello everyone:

I had major problems with my Sony VAIO Z1RA.
First, I had it repaired for color distortion because of a bad video card.

Now, I am having it serviced AGAIN because it won't come out of hibernation and the fact that it takes 5 minutes to find the contents of My Computer.

I use this laptop on a daily basis. Will Sony ever replace my laptop or will I continue to have to repair my laptop until my warranty runs out? I've had this laptop since September, 2003.

    Thanks,
    greatdiwei

I can't speak for Sony but I can say that they will get the problem taken care of at no expense to you; of that you can be sure. They do not have a "no lemon" clause in their warranty but if they have to continously repair the same unit (as SEEMS to be the case here) they will give you a "new" unit (it may be refurbished but it would be like new) just to save them money. . .and of course to make you a happy customer.

Let us know how it works out in the end. I'm sure Sony will take care of you.
