I have a Z2 w/o a PMD. I'm attaching one monitor via HDMI, one via VGA.
Problem is now, I can't make them both work. Only thing I can manage is to Z2-display + 1 external.
What I want is Z2-display disabled and both externals enabled. That should be possible, right? Even w/o PMD.
Thanks in advance!
graphics driver:

You should check in Control Panel>Display>Display Settings...

Nope. You can't use both VGA and HDMI ports directly off the laptop at the same time. Even if you don't want to use the Laptop's display.

Is there any other way? Maybe attach two monitors via HDMI? Any clue? -
only way is an external usb video card.

To be clear: only thing a HDMI splitter can do is cloning both screens?

with ubuntu i can use both external screen. But i have to disable the internal screen. Maybe in windows it is the same?
Sony Vaio Z2 - 2 external monitors (no PMD)
