My principal complaint with my current 13" Macbook Pro 2010 is its relatively dismal CPU performance and the related heat characteristics.

Simply put, it idles at roughly 45 degrees celsius and goes up to 70-80 degrees when watching 2-3 720p videos.

does the Z heat up at the same rate?

The issue isn't with using the comp on my lap; my MBP just heats up the room wayyyy too fast when running at its high temps(its fine at its idle temps though).

*I'm under the assumption that the Z3 is jsut the Z2 with IVB cpus, is that correct?
