Is it just me or does the new Microsoft OS suck on the grand-specc'd Vaio Z3? I mean, everything seems so frickin' buggy and things just breaks down? Ah well, we're waiting to cash out another twenty quids for 'Windows Blue', then hoping the planned obsolesence of Windows OS isn't given ahead of time, like with W8. On another note... Is it just me or does 'Made in the USA'' equal *censored* these days? I want an eglish translation of whatever military-grade OS 'em Chinese are using...

I haven't had any problems with Windows 8 on my SVZ/Z3. Maybe you're doing it wrong? You are extremely vague and seemingly overreacting a bit when it comes to "describing" your problems with W8 and your Z, maybe you could elaborate?

Did you do a clean install or an update? I've tried both now. Clean install - couldn't even get Windows Update working. Upgrade, well, I suppose most of the stuff works, just not as good as with W7. - Like random crashes, graphical glitches and stuff. Also, the system seems less 'smooth' and 'fluid' than with W7. Looks better though, but that's about it... I've been a Microsoft Customer since Windows 95. Owned 95, 98, 98SE, ME, XP, Vista, 7 and now 8. And this seems like another ME to me. Even Vista was better at release IMHO, which I bought with a Dell laptop back in 2006. Ah well, I'm waiting for the 'Blue'...
