    Sony Vaio Z3 backlight doesn't work

    Hi there,

    this evening, my backlight for the keyboard has stopped working. Maybe I've uninstalled something that's needed for it to work. What software is needed for the backlight to function? Thanks.

    ok, so this is the problem. The light from the screen is enough for the sensor not to register the pitch dark room :(
