    Hi i would like my computer to ask for passworkd every time the notebook wakes up from sleep but the option is gray out on my settings under vaio optimased setting.
    how would i be able to change this

    You should be able to see the option of "change settings that are currently unavailable" just above the option windows. Click on that and the "yes" option will be made available to you.
