hello, i bought a sony vaio AW laptop (the newest model, dont know the exact model, its an 18.4 inch etc..,

The bass is very weak, on the speakers and on the external output aswell.

I tried to play with the equalizer, but it didnt help, because probably the output on theese levels is so low, that it doesnt really help to play aorund with it..

my friend with the same laptop also has this problem

    how do i fix this?

Try this (was same on FWs)
Control Panel, Sounds, Properties tab, Dolby Tab, check the box called "Natural Bass". That should help.

Bass and laptop speakers are mutually exclusive.

My FZ has a good bass output with my Harmon Kardon Soundsticks II. Do you have a dedicated subwoofer? If no, you can't expect much bass from satellite speakers.

I have a external Harman Kadron System (external power supply) and the best sennheiser earphones.

With both its the same, the bass is very weak!

With my old laptop (ACER) i never had theese problems

My FZ pumps put my Harmon kardon and V-Moda Vibe earphones really good. I have to reduce the bass in my subwoofer. What sound card do you have?
