Well hello all. I am new to the Sony Vaio but have been reading a lot. This is my first post and I would consider myself a novice in anything computer related so please be kind to me!

I just bought a used vgn-cs110e with a bad hard drive. I have replaced the HDD and installed a fresh version of Vista ultimate (it was originally loaded with Vista Home Premium) and I have DL'd all of the drivers from Sonys website and installed them.

The only problem I have is that the touch sensor a/v controls at the top no longer bring up any on screen info. The volume control works and the led "backlighting" works, but there is no on screen volume indicator. The "AV MODE" button dosen't bring up the Vaio Launcher program. From what I understand, it should. I dont see Vaio Launcher program on the system anywhere so I don't know if this will solve all/any of my problems if I can find and install it??

    Anyone?
