    Hi, I've got a sony vaio vpceb1j1e laptop and the screen yesterday started to flicker and now, when I start it up it shows the logo, flickers a little and then goes black.

    I tried with an external monitor and it is working just fine. I even see a little bit of screen when I flash a light on the screen. Also, I saw online some people who had similar issues and they removed both the battery and cord and pressed the power button for about 2 minutes and fixed the issue. I tried it and it worked a little bit, It continues the flickering but as soon as I put on the cord it goes black again. Any ideas?

    From other threads in the forum I figured out that it has probably something to do with a blown out fuse or chord? Is there anything I can do to determine what the problem is? Thanks!
