I have a laptop (yeah another one!) Sony Vaio PCG-8Wl1 the screen is flickering. The video card is a GeForce Go 7600 GT. The screen flickers from the moment the machine is turned on. The screen is also not aligned with the monitor.. is this another case of a bad GPU from NVidia or something that can otherwise be fixed?

New Information: When hooked up to an external monitor on the VGA, you can see the screen on the external but it's all red. On HDMI with LCD disabled, the screen is normal!! Switched LCD panels to no avail.
