    Hello,
I have a refurbished Sony Vaio Model No. VGN-FW449J/B. I have had it since June of this year and everything has been working fine up until recently. I have an electronic drum kit and I play along to my music through means of using my laptop. I plug my aux. cable into the audio jack and into the drum module and play along. However, the tip of my aux. cable broke off in my audio jack. So, I attempted to get it out. I used pencils, pens, poster puddy, until finally I just slightly opened the outer shell of my laptop and got the piece out. This is good, only I broke the plastic piece on the inside that is part of the audio jack itself and the metal piece that touches the audio jack and sends sound through the phones fell out as well. So now, I don't have an audio jack. I also have one more problem. Not too long ago, I tried plugging my external speakers into my laptop just to see if I could possibly get any sound out of it. I'm not sure if my internal speakers short circuited it, but no sound is coming out of my computer now. I tried resetting my drive, restarting my computer, and my speakers are not turned down or on mute. I don't what is wrong, nor do I know how to fix either problems. Can anyone help me?
